Challenge:

A start-up advertising firm was moving into its first office and wanted to create an open office for their creative team. The design needed to blend their company’s clean and bright aesthetic with the historic and industrial charm of their building. A tight schedule was needed to ensure the client could move into the new space before their previous lease expired while retaining employee satisfaction.

Solution:

Key Interiors designed a flexible office that allows employees to work throughout the office, whether at an open workstation, private phone booth, or lounge area. Exposed brick, beams, and ductwork remained and were highlighted against the warm neutrals and bright pops of branding. A large stadium seating area was created to facilitate team meetings and a private mother’s room was created as an essential amenity. Natural light plus views of the West Loop create an inviting environment for employees and visitors alike.
